Blaze Farm's nature trail is fun all year round. See how the meadow and woodland changes with the seasons – fill in our fun quiz and learn about what we do at Blaze Farm on your way round!

The first half of the nature trail is accessible to wheelchairs.

Throughout the month of December Christmas trees are for sale at Blaze Farm. Whatever size you’re looking for we have a tree for you!

You can come and see Father Christmas at Blaze Farm walking around at weekends throughout December. Group bookings for Father Christmas parties can be taken for our function room – please ring for further details.

Lambing season takes place from the 1st April every year at Blaze Farm. Watch our flock of sheep lambing from the viewing gallery – an admission charge applies.


The Wool Experience happens every July at Blaze Farm. Watch & learn about the sheep shearing process with shearing demonstrations taking place throughout the day. See the creative use of raw fleece by expert spinners and skilled weavers. There’s even felt making displays too. Local produce stalls from within the Peak District also join us so it’s a great day out for all the family! An admission price applies with all proceeds to local charities.


Our Companion Dog Show takes place annually in the month of August. Whatever breed, age or variety is welcome to join in the fun with trophies and rosettes for all winners. Car boot stalls too! An admission price applies.


Our function room seats up to 50 people and can be used for all your requirements. From meetings to childrens parties – evening suppers to WI talks. Please ring for further details.

Our Cow to Cone talks are proving extremely popular. Bookings are taken all year round for our slide show on Blaze Farm and how Hilly Billy Ice Cream is made – not forgetting the ice cream samples of course! We can come to you or you can make a trip out and see us!

Childrens parties are also a firm favourite at Blaze Farm. You can really make it a party to remember – feed the chickens, watch the cows being milked, go on the slide, wander the nature trail – not forgetting your birthday tea complete with ice cream! Rain or shine it’s always a day to remember! All parties take place in the function room – book early to save disappointment.

Bookings for WI, general group visits and coach parties are taken all year round. Whether it’s a stop off for afternoon tea, a passing ice cream or a sit down supper you’re after we can meet your requirements. Please ring for further information.
